Although seemingly like any other day by the coast, the early morning fog didnt clear as the land heated up. The eery fog persisted but the coming of the evening brought with it the best light of the day. Taking a short walk, it became immediately clear that the whole of The Sound was obscured. Although looking out to the sea and knowing it was there, Drakes Island seemed to exist only as a myth.
